[ SHIELD and Fringe Division do have some overlap. All of that overlap can be labelled "mad sciene" on the Venn diagram that is their responsibilities.
Today, half of downtown Boston is blocked off due to a release of amber in the courthouse, and Olivia's starting to wish she hadn't flat out refused when Broyles tried to make her take a vacation a week ago. She could be in Chicago with Rachel and Ella now, and instead she's here, headachey, running on two little sleep, and staring at the horrified faces of the people on the edge of the quarantine, the people who came so close to escape but not close enough. Hell of a morning.
Running her fingers through her hair, she sighs and turns to survey the surrounding area, looking for any security cameras that might have caught something - and freezes when she notices the man on the building nearby, in a perfect sniper's position. He's not with the police or the FBI, she knows that much... so who the hell is, and what's he doing up there? She doesn't like any of the answers she's coming up with.
Olivia only actually watches him for a moment before she quickly glances away and starts hurriedly across the street, shrugging off a curious cop as she ducks under the cordon. She's not in the mood to go at this any other way but directly, this morning. If he's behind this, he's going to regret it. If he's not, then she's damn well going to figure out what he's up to, and maybe yell at him a little for intruding on her crime scene. Mad science... incident. Whatever. ]
